Aloha and mahalo for your interest in becoming a vendor at Makana Market, hosted at Ka Makana Aliʻi and managed by Kenzingtyn Pacific.
Makana Market is a curated pop-up marketplace held:
Every Wednesday from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Every Sunday from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Plus the quarterly Makanalauleʻa, a special event featuring extended activities, entertainment, and expanded vendor offerings.
This vendor registration form is a comprehensive application that includes all information required to participate. Please note that violations of our market policies and guidelines may result in suspension from future participation. We kindly ask that you review and complete this application thoroughly.
Vendor Fees: Vendor fees are due by the end of each event for all vendor types. Failure to pay vendor fees for one market will result in the fee being compounded. Failure to pay after two events will result in suspension until the outstanding balance is paid in full.
If you need to cancel your participation, a minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required. Cancellations made without proper notice will still be responsible for the vending fee. This policy allows us to plan accurately and provide opportunities for waitlisted vendors if space becomes available.
Vendors are strongly encouraged to register their business with the State of Hawai‘i to ensure compliance with tax regulations and legal operation. The market team is not responsible for any tax or income reporting on behalf of vendors.

Where is the market located?
Makana Mkt is located throughout the center of Ka Makana Ali'i's main shopping corridors. Starting from Center Court and extending in both directions. For easy reference the market's main area begins near the Food Hall and out in both directions toward Macy's and 'Olino.
What days are the market?
Makana Mkt operates two days each week!
Wednesdays: 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Sundays: 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
Do I need insurance?
YES! A Certificate of Insurance is REQUIRED. Once your application is complete you will receive a Vendor Handbook with all required entities for coverage.
Can we breakdown early?
NO! You must remain in your space for the duration of the event. Unless we close the market early due to a hazardous condition, ALL booths must remain in place until closing.

Are the vendors the same every time?
While we do have a core group of vendors who participate with us each week, the market has a steady rotation of local small businesses who pop up with us! There is always something new to discover at Makana Mkt!
Can we pick our booth?
NO! Your booths are assigned to you during the vendor review process to ensure we are able to place you folks in spaces we know will be a potential fit for your business type. We must also consider the tenant spaces and place vendors accordingly.
Our preferred method of communication?
EMAIL. Please check your email as we will communicate to all vendors there first. That will be the space you will receive all updates for future events.
Are you guys open during the holidays?
YES! Makana Mkt is open during most major holidays with the exception of the following: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, & New Year's Day.
Is this a rain or shine event?
YES! Makana Mkt is open rain or shine so long as conditions do not pose a harm to our staff, vendors, and customers. SAFETY is our TOP PRIORITY! We follow the weather closely to monitor all potential hazards.
